The OD professional world is becoming more and more international: companies grow bigger and become multinationals. New OD-problems rise and the needs for other solutions grow stronger.
§ How to gain access to international markets?
§ How to orient yourself in a strange country?
§ How to handle problems with another cultural background?
§ How to build up a network with partners and experts in the foreign countries?
§ How to perform in a complete different environment?
You need to meet and talk with colleagues in those countries. Build your own network. Look for partners.
IODA may have the solutions for you. IODA offers a Network for intensive learning, working and discussing together. It is a community in real life, but also a virtual community throughout the year.
IODA is a Community of OD-professionals in Real Life too.
Join us, be a part of the IODA community.

§ Networking with OD experts
around the world
IODA’s members are part of an international network of OD experts working for profit and non-profit organizations and local and multinational companies in a wide range of fields: municipalities and governmental entities; NGOs and community development organizations; the natural resource, finance, construction, fishing and service industries; pharmaceutical companies and health care organizations; manufacturing firms; military forces; family-owned enterprises and retail companies; print and electronic media; and academic and research centers.

IODA has been actively involved in setting up and providing teaching opportunities for members in academic and non-academic OD programs.
§ Offering peer mentoring
and coaching for new OD consultants
A new program for IODA is offering members the opportunity at annual conferences to coach or mentor less experienced OD professionals
§ Affiliations with other
major OD organizations
IODA has entered into professional agreements with both OD Network and ASTD, resulting in reduced membership and registration fees for IODA members, a sharing of knowledge and resources, and mutual research opportunities.
